Crocodile PicturesThese crocodile pictures were taken in Africa, at Chobe National Park. The crocodile can go for a very long time without eating. They do not need to eat often. They wait in the shadows for fish or land animals to become close and then they attack. They will wait just underneath the water and when a deer, buffalo and sometimes a human goes for water they expolde out of the shallows thrashing their tails in order to get their pray.Crocodiles in africa are also farmed. Theis skin is used in the same way as leather to make shoes and handbags. They are also farmed for their meat which has always been a delicacy in Asia but is now getting more popular elsewhere. Wild crocodiles are endangered and the corcodile farms are created in order to stop the plunder of wild crocodiles as wella s for business purposes. Crocodiles in water.
