Deer Picture
When travelling around africa taking a deer picture is something that you do often. There are a number of different types, some of which you will see in the pictures below.Examples are Giselles Bongos, Cobs, Impala, Dik-Dik, Duyker, Oryx, Sable. Deer are payed upon as a source of food by many of the larger animals in Africa as well as by humans. The stand out against the savanna. Most deer eat the local grasses and plants. OryxI saw the Oryx in a number of different locations. They have a distinctive coulering that makes themm stand out. The dark black horns and a black and white face are very distinctive. They arebeautiful animals.
Sable DeerThe sable deer is an edangered deer. There are not many of them around and due to this they are very expensive for a gamepark to buy. This is the only sable that I have seen. It is an impresive animal.
Bongo DeerBongos are the largest forest antelopes. As you can see they have a number of white stripes on their backs that form an abstract pattern. As they grow older, they get darker.
DeerA group of photographs of various deer. They are pictures in groups and alone.
The set of three pictures below show a pir of deer jumping as they go on their way.
