Door Pictures Gallery

Door pictures hold a facination for me. I have spent many journys looking and photographing them. Whether they are old doors or new doors, red or yellow, green or brown. So here is the start of my doors pictures gallery

So I have started here with some photographs of old doors from Portugal. These were taken in a pretty village called Mertola up in the hills. A town overlooking the river Guadiana.

These are multicoloured doors and have that weathered look. They are all closed.

I look at them open and closed. What you see through them and what lies behind them. What is inside a building or what is outside.

They hold a facination for the unknown on the other side.
