Picture Transformation

Creating an abstract pattern by picture transformation. Take a photograph that you like the look of. I mainly choose ones with interesting colour combinations or textures.

The result we are looking for in this transformation is to liquefy parts of the picture to create an overall abstract effect

Adobe Photoshop is used to transform the picture.

Take your photograph and open with Photoshop Editor.

Select filter : DISTORT - LIQUIFY I have set the brush size to 150. Take the brush and move across the picture.

Continue to distort until you achieve the pattern you want.

The final transformed pattern can then be used as a basis for the design of a number of possible items. For example, the pattern for material, wrapping paper, ceramics. Picture Transformation is one of the photography tutorials
