The London Eye
The London Eye was opened just after the turn of the millenium, in March 2009. It had been underconstruction since 1998. Today it is a landmark for those who regularly travel to London and a tourist attraction to those who visit less often. I have been on the eye at least four times I still marvel at the view. I have been on sunny days, on rainy days and at dusk. The dusk 'flight' was fantastic - not only were there no queues but the colours were spectacular. The pictures below show the Eye from across the river.
As dusk falls the pictures below show the eye, standing high above a statue for the Dali exhibition. There is a photograph, and some computer manipulated pictures in coloured pencil and in black and white.

Sunset over London from the eye. A 'pod' as it starts it's descent.
